Amy-Louise Counselling and Psychotherapy is registered with the Information Commissioner’s Office: Ref A8557848.
This privacy notice outlines the personal data that I collect, how I store and use this information, and the options you have in sharing and accessing this information. This is in line with the General Data Protection Regulations 2018.
I keep all written personal information in a secure environment and do not ever pass it on to third parties without your consent, except in the very rare instance when someone’s life or safety is at risk or there is a legal requirement.
I keep brief session notes separately from your personal identifying information. These will be kept for 5 years in line with insurance requirements before being safely destroyed.
You may request a copy of the personal data I hold on you and this is called a Subject Access Request (SAR). There is no charge for this and I will respond within 1 calendar month.
You will be provided with this information in writing should you choose to commence therapy and asked to provide your written acknowledgement and consent to the above.
